The dawn is breakin’, it’s early morn…

I have again been absent from the blog for quite some time, but I finally have an update on the whole boat situation–I’ve bought one! It arrived this week from Tobermory on a very great big truck. Here’s a pic of unloading the boat in the yard at the sailing club, and here’s what the interior looks like…

Serenity will be launched tomorrow morning, and I’m looking forward to getting out onto the water for the first time this year…

  2. nice .. glad you decided on Serenity .. nice boat someone asked me a question here at work that I found very Relevant . DOES IT HAVE A PORTA-POTY ? or other form of toilet facilities ?

  3. Yes, it does have a porta-potty…with no privacy whatsoever…hope you don’t have performance anxiety… :-)

  4. Congrats KaveMan (and welcome back!). Can’t wait to see it in person!!

  5. I’ll just dive in the water when I have to pee & hold onto the bow line! (It’s what I usually do when I have to pee after a dive down here).

  6. Yay! A huge CONGRATS from Righteous Guy, SMP, and myself!

So, no smashing of champagne bottles on the hull yet, eh? :D Perhaps we could furnish you with the libations for consumption instead?

She’s a beaut – perhaps a bit of a “diamond in the rough” at present, but still a beaut. Comfortably sleeps about 10, I’m assuming? ;)

    Cheers,
    Grabber
