Take me where I cannot stand

Our favourite Joss Whedon sci-fi has been licensed for a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game. Apparently, by 2008 we’ll be able to login and play around in the ‘verse.

(BTW, I found this very cool wiki site!)

So far, I’ve been able to resist getting into any of the MMOs (even Star Wars Galaxies), mainly because I am truly afraid of what it would do to my life. However, a Firefly-based game might just be enough to break me–after all, Joss Whedon is my master now:-)

  1. Y’know I was just reading that same article last night and went to send it to you but you were offline on msn. Guess you found it anyways… You really need to watch the south park episode where they have to save the world of warcraft. Preemptive quote: How can you kill that which has no life at all?

  2. This was a major topic of conversation at the party I attended yesterd (hosted by the people who were Mal and Inara for the group costume of Serenity Crew for Halloween 2005 at Barrymore’s – guess who was Zoe!). Apparently I’ll be finding another way to use up all my free time sometime soon!

Also: Apparently Buffy the Vampire Slayer is to continue in comic form!

I’m guessing you folks are less interested in the rest of our geeky conversation – mostly involving how we’d all like to have ancient & medieval weaponry adorning our walls….
